Bonneville, Mountain Crest and Bountiful are all loaded this year and Woods Cross will be much better with Fred Fernandes having another year under his belt. My picks are:
1-Bountiful
2-Mountain Crest
3-Bonneville
4-Woods Cross
5-Sky View
6-Roy

Look out Bonneville

The Lancers are coming to town!!!! LHS 41 BHS 0

Logan

Sky view will win this region easy.

Really?

Re: hsfootballfan

Sorry to say, but you must be self-medicating if you believe that Woods Cross will finish higher than Sky View?

re:Really?

I think the top three are solid and WX or SV could battle for 4th. But if you think that FF will not turn this program around then you are the one self-medicating. Neither of them will battle for the top spots anyway. As for "Logan" and her comments that SV would win this region easily? SV has very little coming back compared to Bountiful, Mountain Crest and Bonneville. Go Braves!

Alumni

Go lakers. Play with pride and the wins will follow

Really?

Re: hsfootballfan

A little more research would reveal that you forgot to include Box Elder, in your "pie in the sky" predictions.
Did Box Elder get moved out of the region? Is there something we do not know?
I am not saying that it is impossible to turn around a losing program, but in less than 2 seasons? Come on, he is not a "miracle" worker! We all know that Woods Cross good kids are enrolled at Bountiful, or elsewhere. So let's quit fooling ourselves!

re:really,

Does it really matter about Box Elder? The only ones with a chance to win Region 5 are the first three I mentioned!! The rest can play to see who goes home after the first week of the playoffs. And it's all just my predictions and that is what makes this time of year great. You pick who you want and I will pick who I want. It's just not my fault you're wrong. :)

Until they get rid of Fessler as a coach, Bonneville will never be good. He treated players like crap and he never knew what he was talking about. Fesslerrrrrr is the worst coach in the state!

hsfootballfan

I do agree with the statement that the coach that I watched treated kids bad. I saw two of their games last year and was very glad that my boys have the coaches they have. But there is a lot of talent in the Senior and Junior groups and they will still be tough despite the coaching.

Bonneville's REAL KEY PLAYERS
Chris Bogavich
Devin Mickles
Tyler Anderson
Pat Gallagher
Austin Richards
And Jarron Woodson (if he decides to play)
those are their returning STARTERS not just the coach's favorite

hsfootball must be a team mom. Sky View should go untouched in this region this year, followed by MC and WX. Bountiful in the middle with BVille, BE and Roy battling for the basement! Not going to fault your peppyness though hsteammom!

Laker Alum

Not sure how the Region will shape up but as far as B-Ville goes, Fessler needs to go!! He was a 2nd string QB in HS and yet he talks to the kids like he was a superbowl MVP. Where are the coaches these days that help players improve instead of picking them apart? He is a disgrace to the coaching staff! Also, B-Ville needs to figure out the QB position. The QB needs to practice in that position and know that is where he will play. Two QB scheme again this year? Just pick the best guy for the job and be done with it!! Come on already, everyone on the team will benefit knowing who will be under center each week. Rock, paper, scissors if you have to, but make a decision before the region starts and let the cards fall where they may!! Go Lakers!!

mustang proud

all i got to say is mc dominated bonneville
