I have heard nothing but great things about David Reed. What's great is that he can contribute now, but the Utes don't have to rely on him to do enormous things because of other receivers (especially Casteel and Godfrey) that can move the ball. I love the depth of this team.
did you say casteel??? oh, right yeah, he was that guy proclaiming that he deserved the heisman...face it, this so called depth that you speak of is really no existent. But how could people like you realize that this group really is not good?? kwhit said, the 6 pack was the best group in the western hemisphere along with the "best" quarterback situation in the country...lol you should think more before you speak, you would sound less pathetic. but you bring what you get upon yourselves. so no sympathy. Good luck, but after the big house against a weak opponent you will show you true colors...just focus on unlv early this time it could help
To umm.....,
Get your facts straight. Casteel only said he was going to win the Heisman, not that he deserved it. The receivers had a poor year last year, and they readily admit it. What cougs fail to realize, is that they are a 4th and 18 "living right off the field" prayer, and a finger tip from having the same record as the Utes' second string, so yeah, I would say the depth is there, as well as your overconfidence.
Brent Casteel said his "goal" was the Heisman. He didn't say he "will" win it, nor did he say he "deserved" to have won it. TDS fans have taken his "Heisman" talk....from his FRESHMAN year....and blown it all out of proportion. These are the SAME posters who get all anxious about "living right on and off the field" comments.
Here's to a great year for Utah Utes football!
Thats quite typical. Zoobs have this nasty habit of trying to re-write the dictionary. Here are a few examples--
Dominance: two last minute, down-to-the-wire victory over your arch nemesis.
mediocre: seven game winning streak, 8 of last nine games won, 7 bowl game winning streak.
Everyone: byU fans
trend: one game
