The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was conducted to demonstrate to the Japanese that the American government was capable of extreme barbarity and that they had the capacity to demonstrate a total disregard for human life.

There is no justification whatsoever for the deliberate slaughter of innocent civilians. ANY nation that engages in such behavior has committed a crime against humanity.

A need to justify the barbaric Allied war crimes of WW2 is the main reason why the so-called "Holocaust" of the Jews by the Germans -- otherwise little more than a naive hoax for power and money -- is allowed to endure. Better face the truth because it's not going away.

If Japan was about to surrender how come it took TWO bombs and there was still a failed military coup after the second one?? Revisionist History...

one can easily see that the worse certain segment of american society is the bigger the percent of those who see nothing wrong with dropping the BOMB on civilians.
They wanted to do the same thing in Iraq as well.
No wonder British Mail considers US population ignorant beyond hope...

It's truly sad to see using nuke bombs are justified by so many Americans. Have these guys thought that some day American Cities could be nuked and then be justified by their enemies? Think of that.
