Tommy

I second the second. Cool article.

I was at the game...

and got a kick out the the Chinese cheering the loudest when their favorite players (especially Kobe) was shooting free throws! Too funny... with friends like that, who needs enemies?!

The Chinese do love the NBA, and just look at the NBA forming NBA China and hiring Tim Chen (former CEO of Microsoft China) to head it up. NBA in China is going big places. How long until a team moves to Shanghai instead of Oklahoma City. I think the 25 million people here can support the team much better than OKC.

Good article !

Dream Scenario

8 seconds left in the Gold Medal Game. US v. Russia.
AK has the ball at the top of the key, Russia is down by one. With Lebron guarding him, he shakes free and in the process causes Lebron to blow out his knee. Drives the lane and gives Kobe a Tea-bag facial Dunk to win the gold. Utah then uses AK's new trade value and swaps him straight up with Orlando for Dwight Howard.

Now that's an Olympic Dream

Jeff

Utah getting DHoward that is an Olympic Dream. I would give up Boozer and AK for him. Imagine the 2 Ds working the inside. That would be awesome.

2doc

Chungching, with 30 million inhabitants and a geographic size as large as the country of Austria is the largest city in China...and they all LOVE the NBA players...they are FANTASTIC!
