there are enough charges coming out of Texas that it doesn't really matter if all these charges get dismissed. He's in prison for most of his life either way.

One can only hope that this allows the FLDS followers to start over by reverting back to the basic tenets of their religion, rather than the twisted version Jeffs gradually imposed over the years....

Reality - I usually agree with what you have written however this time I have to disagree. Jeffs has two five year to life sentences. We all know that criminals get out sooner than later. Is it possible for Jeffs to only serve five years total and get out on good behavior? I don't know whether suicide attempts are considered bad behavior in prison.

I think you are optimistic in regard to the Texas case. In war and legal affairs, the outcome is hard to predict. Just because everyone thinks this guy should be in jail for life, doesn't mean it will happen. There are a lot of technicalities in the law. The "single residence" argument didn't fly with the appeals court. So, I don't think it is clear as to whether the evidence seized in the search of the entire compound will be admissible. It may be just as hard to justify a search as it was to justify a seizure of the children.

So, I hope Arizona doesn't drop the charges. I'd like to see every state land Jeffs with as many charges as possible in the hopes that some will result in convictions.

What would be funny is if Arizona acquitted.

I really doubt Arizona is going to acquitt Warren Jeff's
