I have to laugh at how Salt Lake is a "big city" and Provo is a "small city" when there is only about 60,000 difference in population (175,000 and 115,000 respectively). I wonder if New York is in the Mega City category and Logan is in the Tiny Town category. Poor Price would be a "Stick in the Mud" and Randolph would be in the "Gnat" category.

I believe the city size designations are based on metropolitan area populations.

In Utah most people volunteer only if given some kind of reward or recognition. I congratulate those who seek no reward or recognition for their service to others. As a widowed mom with seven children, very few people have come forward to help us through the hard times, very few, even when asked.

Dear Hapymom,

I am deeply saddened that you have not been given more service. Even more so if you have asked for it. You and everybody in your situation need all the help and suppor they can get. I was a single Mom with four children once and it was hard.

I was pretty sure when reading the article that there would be only pessamistic comments from the readers. It's nice to know that when life sometimes gives you lemonade there are those who suck out all the sugar, drink the rest and then urinate on everyone else's parade. Big city, little city, no one helps me out - boo hoo! May life give you a giant block of cheese for your overflowing whine.
