You are a good mom. Your articles are amusing, but they are telling of a parent who has genuine concern for your child's mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well being. As a father whose children are his world. There is nothing more: important, sexy and emotionally intimate to me - than when the mother of my children sacrifices her "maintenance" or the house work to focus on my children's needs and nothing else for just a little while. If you can be a Super Mom - great! If you cant do it all, just focus on the most important things - the kids.
(and the husband. please.)
Erin, you are crazy, but I love you anyway! You are an awesome mom! Is Wolf Scott? You should play the xylophone for me sometime.
This article is completely inane.
I do not understand the above comment from "Louise." Not only are Mrs. Stewart's column's funny and entertaining, they show deep insight to the life of a mother that every new mom lives through. Trust me, I have 4 children. I have been through it all and know that Mrs. Stewart portrays the mommy growing pains in a way that is comical yet insightful, so that every mom can relate to it and not be as hard on themselves in these emotional times.
I do not find it constructive to make such a bold, harsh posting, when a woman is voluntarily sharing her embarassing and touching moments with the world. I think 99.9% of the readers of Mrs. Stewart's column will disagree with "Louise" and not make such unproductive comments to a new mom who is catering and entertaining the rest of us mothers.
Keep up the good work, Mrs. Stewart!
