Sturgis is hurt again? Who would've thought it?!

The guy is made out of glass. And not the thick kind, either.

...we now see why LA didnt mind getting rid of him.

He is a great player....when healthy...which is never.

A waste of a Roster spot. Trade him while we can.
Stupid Nowak | 1:28 p.m. July 24, 2008
It's upsetting that Nowak would choose a player recovering from an extended injury with no game time in months. This result seemed like a forgone conclusion.

Nowak also chose Guzan, Parkhurst, and McBride to be the over age players. I don't think he's rooting for the U.S. to win anyway.

Like the U.S. has a chance anyway.

of course...

Nowak is completely out of his element with this team. He has no idea how to coach young talent. Freddy Adu @ DCU would be the prime example. Need more? How about the Toulon International Tournament? We'll be lucky to make it out of group play, and that will be because of talent and not coaching.
national team coaches..... | 9:13 a.m. July 25, 2008
are all the same in the U.S. At least they all act the same.... clueless. The hardest part about watching the coaches flounder is that they don't make any worthwhile changes.... our attack is rotten on a good day so what does bradley do? Play two defensive midfielders at the same time so they can occupy the same space...

At least Nowak picked McBride... he should tear it up with Altidore and Adu along side. I'm not sure why he picked Parkhurst and Guzan. Even if Donavan and Beasley aren't able to come, he could have found taken another actual wing midfielder (At least Alvarez plays for Dallas, McCarty on the other hand...) . It should be an interesting tournament. Oh well, maybe Adu, Altidore and Rogers will be able to make Nowak look better than he should.
