I think that is his father not his Step father,I think that the AP has made a big mistake in this article, , I think that is neat that they can be overseas together, What a neat experince for them,

I want to thank both of these fine men for their service to our country, and their family back home for their sacrifices while supporting our warriors.

We are safer because of the service of families like this one.
