Let's have some senators hold a hearing about cowboys and Indians and only invite the cowboys. That'll be fair.
Senator Reid comes from a state where prostitution is protected by law and he is blustering about the adult choice of a few polygamists. Why doesn't he clean up his own back yard before throwing stones at others?
As usual, the FLDS apologists will respond with weak strawmen, rather than addressing the actual topics of the hearing, the criminal activities occurring within the FLDS and other polygamist sect communities.
FLDS - it's time to pack up camp and move to a place where your practices are welcome - such as Afghanistan...
I hope ALL polygamists groups are afraid!! They should be! Its not only against all 50 states by Law, but Supreme Court also ruled against it!
It time to PICK ONE wife,, and Live a NORMAL LIFE!!!
I dont care if your Flds, or Principal voices, its a SICK belief and needs to be stopped!
oh come on, common sense 2:40pm. You know there's nothing patently wrong with having more than one wife or girlfriend. It's the crimes, civil rights violations, and blatant child abuse that's the real issue. No one really cares about polygamy as long as the guy supports his whole family like a real man and provides a free environment for everyone to spread their wings.
Religious fanatics just are not capable of that.
As long as they are all consenting adults thay have the right to their freedom of religion. But with the abusses that are going on someone needs to step in and clean up. I'm not sure who should do that. It will be dificult to stop the abuse and protect their religious rights at the same time. That's probably why they have been left alone.
