I had no idea that the West Nile virus could be so debilitating in an otherwise healthy young person. I am rethinking using insect repellent.
Insect repellent is no panacea, its poisionous. It isn't good for you either.
The same thing happened to my cute niece after she had a kidney transplant. She has 3 cute children and has to walk with a walker and her speech is slurred so you cannot understand her some of the time. She was told the same diagnosis as Melissa. What a sad trial to go through.
We have nearly a million people living in Salt Lake Valley, and how many people have contracted West Nile Virus? And yet the stories we hear about it, week in and week out, would have us think that we're surely going to die of west nile if we don't wear mosquito repellant.
Yet another story blown well out of proportion.
Hooray for Melissa! Hooray for your charming smile!
