Deport him | 5:34 a.m. July 23, 2008
I don't care if he is here legally or illegally. This is not the kind of person who should live here or get citizenship. Have him serve his time and deport him.

Is that all a life is worth? Where is the justice in that? Being that it was a hit and run, the judge should have split the difference between the minimum sentence and what the sentence would have been had he been found drinking.

I think the law provides for a way to adjust his legal status if he's convicted of a crime. I hope the minor sentence isn't the judges' way of preventing him from being deported.

Ninety days for a hit-and-run homocide? And probably drunk too? He should have gotten 5 to 10 years in the pen and deported after serving his time. Who was the idiot judge and prosecutor? They should be fired for turning a murder into a traffic violation.

How can you not feel that you hit something. If you run over a curb you feel it, if you run over a rock/boulder you feel it, if you hit a deer, which I've done you feel it, if a rock flips up and hits your windshield, which we've all experienced you duck and you HEAR it, so if you hit a human being how could you NOT feel or hear that to, unless you were drunk and not in control of yourself.

Sometimes our justice system just doesn't work at all does it. Amazing.

Sosa should be deported...we have enough home-grown irresponsible, drunk drivers terrorizing and victimizin our citizens...the last thing we need is to accept, tolerate any foreign nationals/non-citizens from doing the same. Every crime committed by an illegal alien is 100% preventable if our borders were secured, our laws enforced and businesses/individuals would NOT hire illegal aliens.

Just say NO MAS to illegal immigration. Demand that the border be secured.....SI SE PUEDE...YA ES HORA!

What??? | 4:31 p.m. July 23, 2008
We have the girl who ran over the 2 year old and she gets 30 days, now this guy gets 90 days. What's going on with the courts and justice. Both of these were minorities. Does that factor into the sentencing. Are the judges afraid of them?

I didn't see that part. or is it not there and that's why I didn't see it.
