Speaking for all Republican's here now here's a cure?. If those Iraqi leaders have become more assertive about the country's sovereignty, giving rise to demands for a specific plan for American forces to leave, how's this, "ALL U.S. combat forces along with all American people with their obligations in the war effort and rebuilding, will pack up in the next 24 hours, with or without any withdrawal timeline, without it being based on Iraq's ability to take care of its own security and the Iraqis might be trying to use the US election for leverage, and that the US fully knows you understand fully that is very serious that they understand the implications, and forcing President Bush to make concessions, and we'll take back with us every dollar we sent over there along with us, in your gold and US cash, and in return you will keep Barack Hussein Obama, and all the US House and Senate Democrats, and do as you please with them over there in the dessert near Baghdad." If the reduction in violence climbs again, you pay us to than clean up your mess and come over again.

Brother, conservatives seem to expect a puppet government ran in Washington, over a democratic government elected by Iraqis.

We can't leave Iraq. We would cut off Bush's no bid contracts with oil companies.

You forget, we are uninvited guests in Iraq.

Go ahead and make the declaration, Chuckster. Or you could say "We made you and we can break you, you little toads. We're stealing your oil and leaving." Either way, you'll be waiting awhile before the Iraqis come begging for us to "RE-Shock and Awe", then re-occupy the locals. Leaving would be great for us, too. W on T down to one front, and more flexibility to show we haven't learned a thing by pulling the same stunts on Iran. But it's got to come pretty quickly because the administration's only got 6 months left in office unless they can get the Supreme Court to discover an executive privilege that lets it ignore an election and just stay put. As for the dessert near Baghdad, I'll take brownies and milk.

Let me see if we have this right: the Iraqis wish to have us leave, they wish to run their own country, and they want it to happen sooner than later.

What is wrong with that?????????????????????

Obama is a breath of fresh air!!!

What the article does not say is that it gives great support to Obama. I say, let him have it. We can pull out, then Obama can explain later why we have to go back in and lose many more lives and spend more money. The middle east will be a mess, and Obama can deal with it.

We Republican's give you the =A=T==A==B=O=Y= Award Mark B. You'll get your change, cars ran on air, a few pennys back for your pocket, all in the name of Barack Hussein Obamaism.

Brother Schroeder is 100% right.

Was it Yogi Berra who said "I never make predictions, especially about the future." Brother Chuck would do well to follow that advice.

I can't wait until November when Obama gets elected
