Moral of the story: Always use your turn signals.

What an Idiot to consent to a veicle search when he didn't have to. Just goes to show how dumb the drug people really are...LOL

Chris Plummer

Yes, never consent to have your car searched, it is your right. And for most of us legit citizens, it is a waste of my time.

TJ

Well if you see pictures of the car and where the pot was found you will see that the back of the car had custom built boxes for speakers and amps and the drugs were hidden in the boxes so when the guy consented to the search he didn't think that the officers would take the speakers out. You would think that they would just look around and not take the speakers out. I don't know what officer found the drugs but I have several cousins that are highway patrol there and they frequently find this type of thing and removing speakers is becoming a common practice. One of my cousins takes his drug dog everywhere he goes when he is on duty. Most officers have drug dogs in that area. I was actually down there all weekend. And the officers won't search your car unless you act like something is wrong and are being dumb about it. Congrats to the highway patrol for getting those drugs off the streets.

Finally a fish.

If you keep droped sticks of dyamite in the river a fish will surely float to the surface.

TJ Don't give me that. All you have to do, to be stopped and searched in Utah, is to be single driving a vehicle with California plates on it.

I've been stopped more times, in my native state than, any other state in America. I get stopped if it's hunting season to see if I'm transported dead deer parts.

You're an American. It Utah, you're a criminal until you prove you're not.

"What are you doing in Utah?" "How long have you been here?" "Where have you been?" "How long are you staying" "Where are you staying?"

Once, an American didn't have to explain why he was traveling. Once, Americans were a free people.

I just stopped traveling to Utah. Why travel where the police treat you like a felon for not being from Utah?

You get treaded better driving in Mexico.

Right on!

TJ is part of the good ol' boy system created down that way...the only job in town is law enforcement when you can't break the academic ranks and TJ himself pts out that it is all relatives down that way...they have a stronghold but i predict a law suit against the local sherrifs department as they have an out dated ..mode of operende on who can or will become a lawman...kind of like the old west ...but the lawsuit should settle that as they have become much to comfortable with all the fancy rigs they couldn't afford but that particular entity reaks of favoritism , if you go down the list of who is a lawman down that way...very few minorities are chosen and that is where it is glaring...only a matter of time , from the courts , jail on down the line. And you are right "fish" they do label and use the patriot act in very selfish gossip oriented dominion over those not associated with the status quo-system- and big brother is always watching unless your cousins!
