This story is for real. Ryan and his family are fabulous people! I have rarely met a more positive, upbeat, spontaineous, fun-loving family anyhwere.
You GO Ryan. You are lucky to have such a Dreamer for a dad and such a wonderful supportive mother!

My dad was one who received the miracle of 15 years of life he wouldn't have had if not for the gift of a lung transplant from an organ donor. I'm so grateful to them and their family for that time with my dad, the best years he had I think. I'll be a donor, too, and maybe pass that gift on.
We need more people like this kid. As someone who works in the organ & tissue industry and who was a communications major also, I believe that Ryan is on the right track to success. It is because of people like him that others are now having a second chance at life when before there were staring at an almost certain death.
