Golllly, another city with another shortfall, wow! who would have thunk it?
Answer: could and, this is just an idea, and only an idea, but how about taking some of the 3 or 4 million a year to service the bond debt for UTOPIA, and scrap the idea of competing with the the private sector on fiber optics, to make up the short fall.
Naw, your council people are right....it's just easier to raise taxes...scrap the idea, along with UTOPIA
