Without question, if the Jazz didn't retain Deron, everything else is moot.

NOW that they have, if they don't keep the core of this team together, signing Deron could be moot.

I still think those who want to wave bye to Boozer aren't thinking that through, but if he does wind up leaving, I hope it's via trade rather than him just walking away.

Korver has to stay. And unless there's someone out there that's better, so does Okur.

Way to go Jazz. Congrats to Deron.

Brad Rock seems to forget that while John Stocton was always a gentleman and dedicated Jazz man, signing Malone had all the drama of a soap opera.

My hat is off to Deron. It would be a plus if other team members followed his example.

This team could win for a long time IF and that's a big if they could get Carlos Boozer to play some D-fense. I agree with Tony - Carlos is very valuable to the team, but I watch what other big men do for their teams, and that is play defense. If he played D, D-will and company would be challenging for the top in the West.

I kind of think that the Sloan system and a smart point guard are the basis for the Jazz success, if the Jazz do not have Boozer, they will plug someone
else in the 4 spot and still succeed.
