Why is it the local papers write all these stories about mormon reality stars, yet there is a non-mormon comedian on Last Comic Standing from Salt Lake City who can't buy any local media? The guy is in the top 10 on a show on a major network. Just curious.

Yo RedVoodoo

It's the "Non-Mo" factor.

You hit it on the head. Ms. Blonde is more palatable to the blue-hairs of this paper than tatted-out Marcus.

Plus, the comedy show airs from (gasp) Vegas.

Ms. Blonde is (apparently) doing something constructive with her talents. Not sure what that is.

Oh my heck no way!!! (Hands a flutter) national recognition, national recognition, national recog-NISHUN!!!! Go Rhiannan! We love you even more than we loved Archie at this point in his rise to national prominence!!!!!
(Now thats sarcasm.)

umm ???s

How do you know this girl is mormon? are you just assuming that because she doesn't have tatts? How do you know there won't be a story about the dude on last comic standing if he makes it to the top 3????? I get sick of people who think the news only covers mormons.

hmmm

I thought her "secret" was going to be that she's a brunette.

Legally Blonde?

>>I thought her "secret" was going to be that she's a brunette.<<

Yup. Thats it...

Id recognize a bottle-job and those dark roots anywhere.

Maybe Red Voodoo...

...should express his concerns to the 'Stand-up Comic Reporter'.

I don't know if this contestant is mormon or (as mentioned earlier) blonde. Who cares?

maybe not

When i saw the topic of this article, I only thought it was about Legally Blonde, and considering some of the content of the musical, ("So Much Better" stuff) plus the really immodest costumes (e.g. playboy bunny), I didn't automatically assume that she was a Mormon, I just thought the article was showing that "they're" proud of their Logan girl making it big, and it's not a Mormon factor at all.
I think it's really cool that she's going for it, and impressed with her credentials, though I'm not from Utah, I just like parts of the musical myself and only wish I could see it with LBB.
