John Adams had one goal and one goal only. To present to the American people that the founders of this nation were no better than anyone else. Hollywood yet again tried to show the "human" side of our founding fathers and trashed their reputations in the process. Once the started to depict Ben Franklin as an adulterer that is when I turned that disgusting television off. They also tried to blaspheme Sam Adams good name painting him as an accessory to murder (none of which is in the book).

Heaven forbid anyone take an accurate look at an American historical figure. It was well documented that Franklin WAS an adulterer, and no one is perfect. They were great men who did something quite unprecedented, but the fact the miniseries didn't deify anyone was part of what made it so great.

I get tired of the stereotype of Utahns not ever being able to question authority, but here you go backing that right up.

I watched Damages and thought it was the best program on TV! Congrats to Glenn Close, who did a stand out job, as well as all the other players in the show. I can hardly wait for the 2nd season, ca. 2009!

Be Fanklinwas NOT an adulter.

though he was known for flirting with the girls.

I don;t know what "documents" you were looking at. I notice you failed to actually mention even one.

But he was NOT an adulter.

Biggest snub? Henry Ian Cusick, hands down.. His performance for the whole 4th season of Lost was incredible, ESPECIALLY in "The Constant" - that episode alone should've earned him a nomination and the win for best supporting actor in a drama series.

Crying Shame, how many times do we have to see Boston Legal and Tony Shalhoub get nominated anyways?

I know a lot of folks around here will never watch HBO but missing "Recount" and "John Adams" is a big opportunity to see something educational, inspiring and great. Each one might even help us all be better people and help Mormons be better Mormons.
