What a bunch of hyperbabble here in this feeding frenzy. As I have said before, Our hopeful Republican Mitt Romney will not secure the party's vice presidential nomination here's why. Sen. McCain HATES ALL MORMON'S, he can't stand them, he would MUCH RATHER have a moderate/liberal somewhat like himself, such as Governor Charlie Crist of Florida, that acts like a Republican when TV Cameras are pointed at him only, than a true Conservative and a Mormon like Mitt Romney that would make a great President. If McCain dies or can't hold Office,because of his age and health, it's the VP that fills his Chair. It is HE "McCain" that picks the VP, not the GOP or the next one in line for that seat is The Speaker Of The House like on a State level. In short, Karl Rove can't help him nor Mitt Romney. He can only stir up hope and hype and fear of loss. And I don't care what media news station made a case for Mitt as McCain's choice for VP, that's like any poll, it's to create a news story on slow days and to share equal time.

Karl Rove is mostly responsible for the conservative crack-up in 2006 & 2008. Rove's divisive 50+1 strategy helped President Bush get reelected, but also helped alienate crucial Independents whose dramatic switch helped Republicans lose the Congress.

I deeply respect Mitt Romney. In love I say: Brother Mitt, ignore Karl Rove.

I wonder if liberals would think that McCain is qualified to be president if he had been a community organizer at the Hanoi Hilton along with their Jane Fonda ?. When you're a community organizer in Chicago working for a corrupt voter registration unit called ACORN, this is what you do: you try to divert attention with emotional appeals and rants.

After a brief bout of Obamamania, some Capitol Hill Democrats have begun to complain privately that Barack Obama's presidential campaign is insular, uncooperative and inattentive to their hopes for a broad Democratic victory in November. They think they know what's right and everyone else is wrong on everything, groused one senior Senate Democratic aide. They're kind of insufferable at this point, talking about the Obama people. This is interesting cause the Republicans think the same thing about McCain. The Republicans think McCain is out there just trying to get elected president, doesn't care what happens to the rest of the party, and now some Democrats on Capitol Hill are saying the same thing about Obama, that he doesn't care what happens to the rest of the party.

NE 1 You should see what conservatives have writen about John McCain. It's conservatives veterans claiming McCain broke the miliary code of conduct and that McCain made propaganda for North Vietnam. Too them John was much like Jane.

I wrote this off because of the conservative tactic to swiftboat. You might like to google this conservative hate speach. You seem like the type who would enjoy it.

There are conservatives veterans - and than again there's conservatives veterans that turned lineral today and will say just about anything these days, those so called liberal veterans are left over hippies from the 70's, still lost in space, with made-up propaganda and poison they spread, and McCain was never on any radio station from the Hanoi Hilton with their Jane Fonda 24 hours a day like she was, McCain was not doing it at all, nor on radio. Like any POW, after a couple of years one might cave in to try to get some medical help, but if that was the case it would of been in McCain's VA Medical Record's. And as President HIPPA law's don't count, it'll be open public knowledge. Only that will we know for sure, and I don't believe GOOGLE for one second. Thanks anyway.

I appreciate the good that Rove has done for our country! He help expose the swift boat lies that John Cary tried to foister upon the people and helped get the liar defeated. Cary came very close to winning the election and would have damaged our country severely. He only wants to tell the truth!

I contributed to the Romney campaign and while I believe he would do a fine job as either President or Vice President I must admit that I cringe at the thought of him being back in it again. The lies and half-truths put out by many in and out of the Republican party have left me disgusted with a lot of people that I had once thought worthy of respect and if Mike Huckabee is part of Senator McCain's ticket I will be taking another look at third , fourth, and fifth party candidates!

Ihate to disagree with Ann Coulter, but I do believe it would take more than brains,to make a democrat a republican. I think a brain might help,but still there would be a lot of other damages to be repaired. it would be a long process.

I only need to listen to Carl Rove, or Mitt romney, a few minutes to know they are both intelligent. poor demos, I feel sorry for them.

Hate to break it to you guys but Mitt tried to flip and flop his way to being a conservitive. Unfortunately for him most of us didn't buy it. Gradual change in philosphy I can believe but to flip on so many things in so little time is just someone trying to reinvent themself. Sad thing is he didn't even try to hide it and a lot of people on this board seem to believe that he is a conservitive and has always been.

If it makes you guys feel better you can blame it on him being Mormon. Playing the victim card seems to be the trendy thing this year.

That's right, Willard claims that McCain invented/authored the surge strategy. Nothing about dodging sniper fire in Bosnia yet, but with Mitt, anything is possible. Stay tuned!

A lot of people need to get their heads out of the mud and see what a good thing they have in nominating Mitt Romney for the vice-presidency. McCain is one of them. We need a Romney that stands up for virtue, values, moral judgment, economic smarts, leadership, etc. If I wasn't LDS, I'd still vote for him, because he's one of the few decent politicians in our society that cares about our government, our country, our people and we need someone like Romney with faith and values to thwart the evil that is upon us today. We see that in the wicked California supreme court with wanting to ban the right to vote against gay marriage in Nov. Where do these scum of the earth so-called political leaders come from. I sometimes question who really created them!
Romney's your only best choice, Tony Snow would have been another one, but unfortunately his life was cut short!

Oil in CA. can be used within a year. But, they won't let us drill there. Yes it could take from five years up to be productive in most places. But, if we have free enterprise and capitalism, as the Constitution assures us, we can pull our economy up quickly. There's no other direction to go, but up, with freedom. Mitt is the only one that's offering it to us. Other candidates don't seem to know how to be free. It's something that has to be learned.

I just want the do nothing congress cleaned out, the leftist wackos to take a LOOONG vacation, the people with the technological know how to keep on working on the alternative thing and, "IN THE MEANTIME" get those drills fired up!!. For crying out loud, it's going to take decades to fully develope alternatives..I can accept biofuels and nuclear, but who in hell wants to look at thousands of windmills or acres of solar panels?..Even Slim Picken's plan won't be ready for 10 years(if that)..
I love the idea of Mitt as the second in command honing his skills to become first in command..and I absolutely shudder at the idea of Obama trying to run this last bastion of freedom with the nutjobs he's bound to strew throughout his administration if,God forbid, he manages to slither in ...There's just something evil in him that's too close to the surface..BTW, how long before those dingbats Pelosi and Reid (any any of the others) are eligible to be kicked to the curb??.. They are poison to America and need to be purged from any governmental body. ..
