Mitt & McCain -- an UNBEATABLE team!
Oh great, Rove is trying to help Mitt. That will surely be the kiss of death.
Rove is a good guy. Mitt and McCain would be good. McCain needs Mitt's leadership and many other qualities that uniquely qualify him for the vp post. He will someday make a great president.
It's early yet, I predict that soon the Mormon haters and bashers will be out in full force as well as the Mitt haters and lie pushers.
McCain and "anybody" -- a LOSING team!
The repubs have had their shot - its time to move on. Ask yourself, ala, Ronnie Regan, "Are you better off today than you were eight years ago?"
Go MITT in 2012!! To "get real," the real losers are Nancy Pelosi and her sad-sack team of lefties... stopping any legislative action on opening up U.S. domestic supplies of oil in ANWR and off-shore while oil prices continue to climb --killing off our economy, raising food prices, and resulting in real hardships on Americans. The Democratic leadership in both House and Senate are patehtic and out-of-touch with average americans who are having to choose between food or fuel, or medicine and fuel...There aren't enough "alternatives" yet... What are we supposed to do -- just stay home and collect welfare??
I would love to see Mitt give McCain some credibility as the VP if for no reason than to pull out the bigoted Mormon haters and let them be exposed for the disgusting, hateful frauds they are. Bring it on.
On the serious side (Mormon haters are just a joke), Mitt will serve McCain well. He's an asset in most close states; knows proper economics well; he's a successful leader (neither McCain or Osama have led anything significant and in Obama's case, he's led NOTHING!!); he can be articulate and can speak to the issues of the day without being a Bush guy.
Good choice. Mitt and McCain.
Bad choice. Obama and anyone.
Yes we are. We don't have a president having "relations" in the oval office and then pointing his finger at the camera denying it. We don't have a president that lies under oath, we don't have "blackhawk down" failed attempts with military coverups. We aren't blowing up religious compounds and setting them on fire killing men women and children. We aren't having our embassy's blown up our our battleships rammed with exploding boats and doing nothing about it. We aren't giving economic favors to China- a communist country the direct antithesis to democracy and we don't have classified documents being shoved down cabinet members pants as they walk out the archives. We are winning a war despite DEMS efforts to undermine american troops and their efforts to fight terrorists and we actually get detailed plans of action not hot air of speculation.
We've seen what a democratic controlled congress can do...change the menu! Way to go to work Dems.
Economy needs Romney.
However, maybe, Curt Bramble could brown nose enough to get a post on the Romney/McCain cabinet. After all, he is "the man". Maybe, he could intimidate McCain and his advisors that he really is "the man" instead of Romney. After all, he really deserves all the credit for Utah being the "best managed" state. That's right, even the fair and proper way of electing our representatives in Utah are "managed" by the legislature and their leadership. Governor Huntsman, you have been replaced by the current legislature. They view you as powerless.
Forget it, ReThuglicans ~~ after Bushco et al., there's absolutely NO WAY this country is going to vote in another ''R'' leadership, at least not until the ''D'' team gets its chance to muck up the country for oneor two terms.
Sorry to have to break this to you all, but that's the message from my dream last night.
Before this Utah / Mormon feeding frenzy gets started here let's tell the truth's here. Rove was instrumental in helping Bush monopolize the support of evangelical voters and making religious rhetoric an essential part of presidential campaigns, something we are seeing plenty of this year. Rove attended the University of Utah, the University of Texas at Austin and George Mason University, he does not hold a degree.Rove reportedly dropped out of the University of Utah to become the executive director of the College Republican National Committee (CRNC) from 1970-1972. Romney's credentials for the No. 2 spot on the GOP ticket?. Republican Mitt Romney secure the party's vice presidential nomination?, MaCain HATES ALL MORMON'S, he can't stand them, he would MUCH RATHER have a moderate/liberal like himself, as Governor Charlie Crist that acts like a Republican when TV Cameras are pointed at him only is, than a true Conservative and a Mormon like Mitt Romney. If McCain dies or can't hold Office, it's the VP that fills his Chair. It is HE that picks the VP, not the GOP. In short, Karl Rove can't help him nor Mitt Romney. He can only stir up hope and hype.
In "The Dark Side," Jane Mayer chronicles the terrible, destructive decisions the Bush administration made in the name of fighting terrorism.
The GOP as we know it got the executive powers they craved post 9/11 but they are now seen as worse than the Nixon era.
Frightening people every one of them!
What? You really believe we are better off? The economy is in the dumps. Gas prices have quadrupled. Food prices have gone through the roof. Housing prices have more than doubled. We're having to bail out banks and mortgage lenders (a bad idea either way). The world is a much more dangerous place. We're dumping tons of our resources into a war built upon lies. The environment is falling to pieces. I'd much rather have a president that get's a little action in the oval office every so often than the horrific crisis we now face.
You pro-current administration banterers make me sick and ought to be ran out of town for your ignorant remarks. We are far worse now than we were 8, 12 or even 15 years ago. You fools have your talk radio and church to blind you to the truth. Travel, read, educate and engage yourself and then you will see the truth.
We all HOPE that Republican Mitt Romney WILL secure the party's vice presidential nomination?, However as I have said, Sen. McCain HATES ALL MORMON'S, remember that, he just can't stand them, he would MUCH RATHER have a moderate/liberal far to the left just like himself, such as Governor Charlie Crist is that ONLY acts like a Republican when the TV Cameras are pointed at him and they got him on tape, than a true Conservative and a Mormon like Mitt Romney, and believe me when I say America needs a Mormon President real soon to. If Sen. McCain dies because of his old age or can't hold Office because of anyother reason from his health and age, it's the VP that fills his Chair we all know this and NOT The Speaker Of The House. It is HE "McCain" that picks the VP to run with him, not the GOP as you may think. In short, Karl Rove can't help him nor Mitt Romney. He can only stir up hope and hype and a Utah feeding frenzy in the blogs is all. This is a true fact. Perhaps it's time a Mormon was our President to.
Outside of Utah, Mittney is an 'also ran'. In any case, we're going to let obama have a go.
Rove helping Romney is like Jesse Jackson helping Obama, or Rev. Wright helping Obama, or Father Pflager helping Obama, or The New Yorker helping Obama.
McCain would do well not to have any photos taken of him with Rove, or GWB either for that matter.
McCain needs some serious campaign strategy help, but Karl ain't the one.
Chill, "you fools," and remember that the Rush Limbaugh talk show has the most educated radio audience. Seriously, look it up. And people educated in economics know that the Dems aren't offering any viable solutions to the problems incipient with increased worldwide demand for oil with the development of China, India, etc. In fact, the Dems plan for futher 'windfall profit' taxes on oil companies will force the oil companies to charge us even more at the pump so they can afford to keep producing any at all! It's amazing that the economy is still experiencing any growth at all given that demand for oil has driven up the price so high so quickly, dragging up the price of food and other commodities with it. Answer: more domestic oil while researchers develop other alternatives. It will take at least a decade for any economy to get off oil in any significant degree as it drives all our trade.
It does not take long for the brainless to trot out Clinton as the "boogey" man for all our problems.
He did have "relations" (with that woman).
Did anybody die?
Over 4000 American Soldiers have died in a questionable War that is bankrupting our country.
Gas is 4.50 and rising.
401 K's have lost ground in this economy.
The employment and housing picture remains bleak.
We are better off?
Heaven help us all!
you two bloggers are the scary ones, listen to yourselves, please take this as constructive as possible... get help, get help now, you talk about educating and engaging oneself, i am afraid for you, if you call yourself educated and engaged with this sort of talk and behavior--i think, no, i know, you must not have stayed around for the FULL education and engagement. I guess the statement, "I'd much rather have a president that get's a little action in the oval office every so often...", says it all, and you wander why we are in this so called "horrific crisis". "Better Off" and "you fools", my advice is to take a seriously long look at yourself in the mirror-- look deep and hopefully you will find some small spark of reality still burning. I think that everybody can be helped and change, even yourselves. I really am serious, you have lost your way in life, but do not give up, you can still try to learn (even educate and engage) what really is the "TRUTH". It is definitely not on the path you currently travel. GOOD LUCK to you both, you will need it!!!
Knows more about the economy, finances, etc. Than Obama ever will. Mitt would be a great choice. and No I'm not a Mormon or even a Republican. I'm an American who's see's Obama as all fluff. He sounds like the guy that ran in our high school for studnet body president.
