PEOPLE ARE NOT DOING THE RIGHT THINK TO GO IN BANKRUPTCY. THIS IS BAD FOR THEM AND BAD FOR THE STATE OF UTAH. PEOPLE SHOULD LIVE WITH THE MONEY THAT THEY MAKE ON DO NO CREDIT. I FEEL IT IS A VERY BAD FOR EVERYBODY TO GO INTO BANKRUPTCY. YOU SHOULD CALL THE PEOPLE THAT YOU OWE MONEY TO AND WORK SOMETHING OUT.

Hey Joe

I filed bankruptcy. My appendix decided to blow out on me, and I could not afford insurance. I TRIED to work out payments with the hospital, but they instead started to garnish my wages. I couldn't live off of what I had left after they got their cut so I had to file bankruptcy to survive. And you know how much credit card debt I claimed?? ZERO. I do NOT have a single credit card, and I DO try to live off of what I make.

Put away that brush your using to paint all those who file bankruptcy with. Not all of us have maxed out credit cards or a huge house with lots of new vehicles. Some of us are victims of circumstance.

I FILED BANKRUPTCY ON 17,000 DOLLARS OF MEDICAL BILLS. TRY LOOKING AT THE BIG PICTURE. THERE'S MORE TO THIS THAN PEOPLE NOT WANTING TO PAY THEIR BILLS. IT'S SURVIVAL. PEOPLE WORK HARD, TRY TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR FAMILIES AND STILL END UP IN FINANCIAL TROUBLE. IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT. LOOK AT THE SYSTEM. IGNORANCE IS BLISS, THOUGH. JUST KEEP BLAMING THE POOR FOR EVERYTHING. I AM NOT LAZY OR IRRESPONSIBLE, OR UNEDUCATED. I HAVE A DEGREE. I TRIED TO WORK OUT PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS. MOST DEBTORS DON'T WORK WITH YOU AND DON'T CARE IF YOU CAN FEED YOUR KIDS... AS LONG AS THEY GET THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR. SOLVING THE PROBLEM ISN'T SO EASY.
