I am sure the numbers could be adjusted to make these glaciers conform.

Can't be- dontcha know, the "consensus" says we are going to die by melting, based on everything else melting/ changing/ etc and etc.
What? | 11:26 a.m. July 9, 2008
No No No, these are global warming denier glaciers, but you just wait & see they will conform in 2012, because we have a treaty with the world, & once they conform, they will be the start of the firey-flood that will wipe-out the evil humans!

By the way ... Global Warming is a farce/lie/myth/ part of nature!

Do Utahns in general believe that global warming is not occurring? Does any of the recent news about ice melting, polar bears starving or drowning, penguins declining, etc. give you any concern? Or do you prefer to ignore some of the facts? Perhaps it has to do with the fact that one of the most recent main spokespersons is Al Gore - a Democrat?

The reason the Mt. Shasta glacier is growing was explained! It is because of its particular location, and because of the warming trend out in the ocean!

Montana is not too far away from you. Take a trip (when gas is a bit cheaper though) and visit the Glacier National Park. Look at the before and now pictures! Go soon so you can get an idea of how it looks without just having pictures to refer to!

Armageddon is near - next the sky will turn red to the East, and a horn will sound, we will be all doomed. Another sign - a Glacier is growing and not melting, it must be near folks.

Did the polar bears tell you they're suffering? They're actually thriving. Well, unless Al Gore's hunting them behind the scenes.

I have been a conservative my whole life but am not fooled by those who can't pull their head out of the conservative blanket and admit that global warming is for real. No need to go outside of Utah to witness its impact, just look up into the hills. A big chunk of our pine forests are being eaten away by beatles. Historically these beatles could not survive high places such as the Uintas due to the tempeture. However in the past 10-20 years they have been able to do so and have devoured certain sections of forest.

One might argue that this is all just one big cycle. There may be some truth to that but carbon emmissions are definitely speeding it up and making it worse. We have to decide, do we sit hear and argue semantics about the cause or do something about it?

Finally, supporting anti global warming initiatives wont devastate the US economy unless we let it. Rather, alternative energy will and already is a new booming industry. Even T. Boone Pickens is embracing it.

In short, you can be Republican and support green initiatives!!!
