Evaluation sought of suspect in slaying

This is so sad and certainly points out many of the flaws in our mental health system and the problem families face in getting treatment for a family member who isn't competent enough to KNOW he needs help.
But, having said that, there are some people whose competency is such that they shouldn't be released from any facility--ever. This man may well be one of them.
Our prayers go out to his family.
