Comments about ‘Audit finds Securities deficiencies’

I was so glad to see this headline and article in the Business section today. This information is long overdue to the public. On this day of celebration of the freedoms in our country, the public needs to know of the "loss of liberty and pursuit of happiness" people in the Division of Securities has inflicted upon individuals and their famlilies.

So what recourse do those of us have who have been profoundly affected by the Division's "overzealous pursuit of securities violations, and . . .(who) did not receive fair treatment"? Is anyone in the Division of Securities being held responsible for the grief certain individuals have inflicted upon those they left in their path? It would be nice to see real justice served.

Giani continues to insult herself. Yesterday she said the auditors should have interviewed investors who the UDS saved money. That comment was like saying "the ends justify the crooked means," and "licensees' rights to 'due process' are suspended." Today she says, "Why did they interview the accused violators... that's like interviewing criminals the police have put in jail."My question to govn'r Hunstsman:No-wonder there are problems when a person is running a Department that can't see the difference. 1st, the auditors interviewed the "accused," NOT the guilty, and 2nd, the so-called "guilty" by the Division had their due process rights and prosecutions rigged!The criminals the police convict have had their Constitutional rights protected with strict due process. For Giani to not "get it," & to continue to rationalize the fraudulent prosecutions under her watch shows she is the source of the problem. Giani must go!!!
