There should be strict laws of who can even ask for your social security number. You call the utilities and the 1st thing out of there mouth is what is your social security number. Doctors and utilities companys should not be allowed to use them so loosley. I made a payment at the clinic and it printed out my entire social security number. Even credit card reciepts hide part of the number. Account numbers can be assigned and any non goverment tax related business should not be allowed to use it at all.

We have 64 byte encryption. If your data is encrypted who can read it?
