"Miracle" is a definite good choice. So is "October Sky", with the shot of the space shuttle at the end.
2. For less Hollywood, and more history, try "Story of a Patriot" (shown at Colonial Williamsburg for many years) or BYU's "More Perfect Union."

Carve out some time for this, or rev up the Tivo--it's a keeper, and will give you new appreciation for what our founding fathers and mothers sacrificed to forge this country we enjoy.
