How about a center for selfish individualism? Sutherland seems to promote those values.

If promoting self sufficency is "selfish individualism" then we should all be a part of it.

According to research, conservatives give more money and time to charity than liberals.

So it makes sense that liberals think that less government = less charity because for them, charitable action is less apt to happen without government coercion behind it.
