This is a great chance to show what the USA is really like to some players who live in less freedom than we do. I hope everyone welcomes them and is respectful, no matter what our opinion of their government is. A basketball game is an opportunity to build bridges with actual citizens.

really??
I see you didn't have the courage to put your name on that comment.
If any of our nations secrets are accessable to a basketball team visiting Utah for a week then they deserve to be stolen.
It seems to me the opposite aproach would be appropriate. Show them what freedom feels like. Let them rent a car and drive around, let them walk around the city all by themselves, let them go on a hike in the mountains with nobody around but the wildlife. That's what America is all about, they get plenty of what you are talking about back home.
Who will guard Ahmadinejad? I hear he's got a killer cross-over.
Most Iranians are as sick of their oppressive gov't as the rest of the world is. But they are good, hardworking people who just want to have a decent life.
Show them the hospitality any guest deserves. They will warmly reciprocate.
Is George Michael still the lead singer of Iran, Iran?
When they are adding teams like d-league allstars and iranian national team and losing nba teams,
You know the revue is on its way out.

Gee stupid me, I did not realize that Dallas, San Antonio, Golden State and the Jazz were losing NBA teams.
Between the killer cross-over, walking in the wilderness with no one around, quick to forget...slow to remember and hiding in basements this is one of the best comment sections. It really is quite funny!!
On a more serious note, just treat them like anyone else and as the first person said "show them what freedom feels like".
@ Jazzrule
you might try re-reading the comment before you get all snarky.
What he meant was that there are fewer NBA teams participating in the Revue, not that the teams in the review are losers.
Bigjazzfan is right, the future of the review is not looking good. You never know though, it could turn into an exibition type league feturing a handfull of NBA teams and a bunch of foreign national teams, and young all star teams from the d-league and other international leagues. I think that would be interesting.
I look forward to seeing Iran play some ball. I know they enjoy it and have some decent players. It will also put them in a different context than the "Axis of Evil." I am sure that the national team is only here to play ball. Go Jazz!
Setting off a nuclear bomb in Los Angeles would make LA cleaner and safer.
man i am ashamed in some of the comments you people wrote. Some of you think you are being funny by bashing on iran but let me ask all of you something. What if all people out side of utah said, "oh those mormons from utah think they are better than everyone, all they do is go around and marry their sisters and aunts." you know i really expected higher class comments on this board for some reason. because most of americans still think everyone here has ten wives! so before you go around critizing iranians (which btw have done absolutely nothing to do w/terrorism) remember they didnt choose to be related to irans government. everyone stop all this hate and learn to get to know someone personally before you bash THEM or what they believe in. because once agian we dont want people to think mormons marry their sisters and moms. Are these games being televised? If anyone knows, please share the information.
Great oppryunity to welcome the Iranian players as they have always welcomed American athletes in Iran.
