I know there were local bands that were asked to play in the day long event. Why don't we hear anything about those bands?
put on a GREAT show at the Sandy Amphitheater last night. This is such a beautiful venue and the shows get better every year. Maybe some day the DN will deign to send someone to review a concert there. On the other hand, maybe we will just keep it as our little secret.
Oreskaband was the greatest! They had so much energy. "Jump Jump Jump!" Their set has become one of my favorite shows ever.
Sounds like it was good times.
My favorite punk rock summer camp is my favorite punk rock winter, spring and fall camps: local bar with local bands.
Viva la locals.
Fred is the most talented artist on the tour. He played an awesome set and signed autographs and tooka pictures with anyone and everyone who wanted them. Im glad he quit taking back sunday to persue a solo career.
The whole day was so much fun running from one stage to the other to hear so many styles of music. We heard local band Larusso play, we heard pop act of Gym class heroes, we heard they screamo of greely estates and the soothing sounds of Anberlin acoustic. Salt lake is the best stop on the tour period!
Honestly I haven't been impressed with Warped tour lately, my first WT was a couple years ago and since then the band list has seemed to gotten progressively worse, though there are exceptions.
