It is our offering to God to dress according to His word; and modesty is only part of it. We are to be separate from the world and not take on the culture of those around us. Our simple modesty will keep us from being pulled into the world system where the goal is vanity, pride, sexiness, riches, and self adulation, things that keep us from God's kingdom. Most American beauty is a lie; it is not what God created, from hair color, lipstick, nail polish, etc.; no one who loves or makes a lie shall enter the kingdom according to God's word.
It is those who dress modestly in America that hold back an onslaught from modest Muslims and others who are not ashamed to dress godly. Be sure of this one thing, the ungodly shall perish; the godly will be lifted up and rule the nations. Not those that say Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom, but those who do the will of God. It is a holy nation God is preparing and all who love God will sacrifice their artificial beauty for the beauty of holiness.
I am proud of those who think first of modesty. Our girls need the help and power it takes to get this in effect. Thanks to those who have taken the initiative.
