I'm all for BYU sports teams doing a little service, but perhaps they could try to do more service at home. I'm tired of the churches money funding trips all over the world for teams to get a little more experiance.

Read the article; it says the players raised their own funds for this trip.

The BYU soccer players don't receive any scholarships and had to pay their own way for the trip to Fiji. Plus, try not to group the BYU soccer team with the rest of the athletics in Provo. They are very active in the community and when they travel in the US they are involved in firesides, seminary classes, and put on camps for the local communities. Yea thats right.
