Rod Parker is stating that the girls and women were not given immunity. Without immunity, not much can be said. It is somewhat strange not to be offered immunity when any essential testimony is going to cover criminal matters that involve the person testifying. So, either the grand jury proceedings only introduced a cast of characters or someone is lacking in ability on the side of Texas.

On the other hand, Texas can't offer immunity if the testimony is not going to be truthful. Answering, "I don't remember," to every question once provided immunity would leave Texas empty-handed. So, maybe yesterday Texas was looking at the some basic testimony from the girls and women and assessing whether it wanted to offer immunity.

Given that the next meeting is a month away, it seems the Texas is not yet prepared to present its case. How do the jurors remember what went on from month to month?

They don't remember the testimony, oh, yes the minutes of the court can be read but; what is being said here by the Grand Jury is: What?! no crime no foul! Why are we here?! Texas you better show us some evidence or, we are going home!
