Beasley

Here's what I want to hear on draft day: With the 2nd pick of the 2008 NBA Draft, the Miami Heat have traded their pick to the Utah Jazz for Carlos Boozer. The Utah Jazz have selected Michael Beasley as the 2nd pick in the draft. Can you imagine...Deron Williams and Beasley playing together. Then, all we need is to trade Kirilenko for someone like Shane Battier...a good defender and 3 point shooter.....2009 NBA champions!!

Re Beasley

Shane Battier????? You cannot be serious? Sorry Johnny MAC I had to steal your line. That is why Kevin O'Connor has the job and you do not. Last time I checked, Kirilenko was the best defender on the Jazz team with his quickness, agility, and shot blocking prowess. Beasley looks like a potential NBA star in the future. However, Boozer is a proven 2-time All Star. I am sorry but the Jazz would not even get out of the first round of the playoffs with a rookie in Beasley at the starting power forward position and Battier at small forward. Kirilenko does a lot for the Jazz. Take him off the team and watch McGrady or Kobe score 40 points a game versus the Jazz in the first round of the 2009 playoffs.

SEAN SINGLETARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Draft Sean!

Boozer is going nowhere

yea right, trade a 2 time all-star (with more to come) and a 2 time olympian that averages 20/10, for a draft pick. thats a great idea (sigh). just because you have a high draft pick doesn't mean you are getting a guaranteed all-star player. remember the number 2 draft pick in 2005?... yea neither do I. why risk that for someone we already have that already has these elite credentials? we're not getting rid of boozer, and we don't need to. he had a bad playoff run, thats it. we need someone who can come in behind the starters and play defense.

Trade Booze

People don't seem to understand that Boozer can opt out of his contract at the end of next year and we could get nothing for him. The jazz either need to sign him to an extension or trade him to get some value for him.
