When I disagree with someone they are lock-step sychophants. When I agree with them they are brilliant independent intellects. It that the way you see it? Pretty shallow and dismissive.

It's an interesting thing to make a judgment on a person one probably doesn't even know and to characterize an institution and a process as utterly and habitually incapable, then drawing conclusions about the people involved. A dogmatic world view and prejudices make one close the ears and cover the eyes in an effort not to become distracted from evangelizing that world view and those prejudices. Who needs truth when cynicism is his religion, n'est-ce pas?
