ZZZZZZ.... | 11:01 a.m. June 22, 2008
It was so boring watching RSL kick the Rev's behinds. ZZZZ..... kinda like watching astroturf grow.

And having to watch Nunez put the game away... boring!

How lame can you get. Perfect weather, perfect soccer, perfect results. Man. I don't know if I can take such excitement.

Good win boyz!

Great game man, and a great goal too.

I love how deep our bench is.

I have a feeling that our bench is going to pay off big time by the end of the season. I do not think their is another team that can come close to our depth.

Great win. keep it up.
Deep Bench....not sold....yet | 2:11 p.m. June 22, 2008
I'm a season ticket holder since day one and I tend to look at the bright side of things. However, I do not think we are THAT deep. At CB you have Mantilla and at Forward you have Espindola, but after that, I have very little faith in the strength off the bench. No one can come in for Wingert or Beckerman and do what they do. And the loss of Morales would be devastating... Cordoba has shown some moments and might be considered a decent substitute Sturgis would definitely increase our depth if we could get him back healthy. I'd like to see him at DMF, with Dema pushed out to one side or the other with Beckerman and Andy coming in at the 60th minute.

Not deep | 5:51 p.m. June 22, 2008
The only position we are deep at is DEf Mid. (Beckerman, Dema, Sturgis) Defensively we have 4 good players (Wingert, Olave, Borchers, our new rookie) Mantilla is the worst defender I have ever seen. If someone is injured and he comes back we start losing again. Also we have no one capable of doing what Morales does for us. At forward we have 3 decent players (I'm still not sold on Nunez).

But in past years we were starting many bad players and had worse players on the bench. So things are definitely looking up!

I hope Nunez might be an answer we need up front. He scored like on his first shot on goal. Hopefully, he turns out to be a decent finisher for us. I cant say the same for Deuchar and Yura has been pitiful thus far. I would rather see Nunez come off the bench for us rather than Yura any day. I dont care how many goals Yura gets for us in the Reserves.
Deuchar | 11:56 a.m. June 23, 2008
Juice Box Guy: I think Deuchar had a great game against the Revolution. We finally started servicing better on restarts and it resulted in our first goal (own goal) but also the dangerous header off the post before that. Although it wasn't the 5 goal outing I think many would like from Deuchar, he won every ball in the air and every restart was dangerous. Hopefully we can work on attacking up the wings and servicing the ball in from there. But the was great improvements on our set pieces.
I think the theme of training... | 12:29 p.m. June 23, 2008
for RSL before the game saturday was finding the Dr in the air. That is where he, obviously, is the most dangerous. Real actually used him as a target player and made runs off of his flicks and such.
I did not agree with the final sub made by Kreis however, to bring in Cutler for the Dr.
I know he wanted to put 5 in the middle, but we lost all that was working for us by taking him out. Luckily Real didnt concede late though.
