I saw this coming but nobody asked me. How would they see this coming when they were in denial about the real shape of the economy?
It's going to get A LOT worse. This has just started. Hasn't anuone noticed that all the cities are scrounging for fees and tax money?
Not long ago they were awash in tax money from the bubble economy. One local anchor said house prices were going to go up at double digits EVERY year for the next several years.
Guess we need to be careful who we listen to. Now CNBC is back tracking on their second half recovery fantasy.
I saw it coming too. A company can only operate in red for so long before they have to start cutting people lose. Things are going to get a lot worse, depresion worse and everybody in power is in total denial.
