I served in that same mission and played "catch" a few times, but only during the summer! I didn't even know we had missionaries in Siberia before receiving my call in 1999. It is an amazing place, even when it's -40 outside!

why

who cares what faith he belongs to, can he play

Why

I care. Why do you pick that out as offensive?

Let's Just All Get Along

Come on everybody. Let's keep this professional. I think the world would be a much better place if we all just played a little more "catch".

Novosibirsk is quite a place. Not primitive by any measure. In fact, it is a Chicago type city, big and bold, including its western motiff for cafes. Esp. the one with the statue of liberty inside. neato.

Throwing left handed? This might turn out to be an interesting story. But having done a mission in Novo means nothing actually. He could have done the mission in, say, Pleasant Grove, and got the same results.

Leon Johnson's field of dreams may never be realized on the diamond;however, My wife and I were present on many occasions in Siberia where Elder Johnson taught and he will ever be a winner on the field that really counts in this life. Thanks for the memories!!
