Seriously, who besides Fletch has a need to fly into Provo?

The governor, to bypass the I-15 traffic.

Our good friend was killed attempting to fly into Provo becasue of the lack of radar, and it was a known problem then. I am not sure of the current count, but at one time, at least 3 have died due to the lack of radar at that airport.

Considerling that UVU's flight program is based out of Provo, this radr should get well used.

When I returned from Washington DC recently, the plane entered the area south of Mt. Nebo and flew directly over Provo. I was surprised it came in so far south. I'd say the radar system is necessary.

Once again the FAA is addressing only part of the problem. It would have been good to locate the radar installation back at Point of the Mountain where it was temporarily installed during Olympics 2002 so as to be of benefit to both Utah Valley and Airport #2 in West Jordan which has the potential for providing regional support for corporate jets of companies locating in the south area of Salt Lake County. Of course, Salt Lake International wants to keep all the traffic to itself, so they're supporting Provo for the location. Not to sound mean, but I hope it comes back to bite them. Way to go Chris Cannon-just in time for elections . . . again.
