Been to Manti?

Have you been to the pageant in Manti? I don't know if the girls you talked to are involved or not, but many of the so called christian missionaries are pretty underhanded down there. They have been asked not to proscelite on LDS church property, allowing those that don't want to be preached to a place to escape, yet they go onto temple grounds in the guise of asking to learn about Mormon beliefs and then turn the conversation to their preaching. When asked to leave they question why they should have to. They also shout thier beliefs during the performance of the pageant. I think this is disrespectful and not very christian.

Evangelical Born-Agains are taught that if you are not part of their Cult/Religion then you are not going to Heaven. Many would be shocked at the real reasons their Churches were Founded.

I ask them if they have read Matthew 6 and if they understand it. Most don't even bother to ask you if you want to hear their message.

To Charles48

Jerry,
Thank you for being objective in your writing. As always, I enjoy reading your column.

Charles48,
I am one of the so-called Evangilical Born Again christian and I have been for 33 years. Most christians only goal is to have a personal relationship with Christ. And this is what we want for every one who claim to be christian. I red Matthew 6 again this morning; I must red it so many times, because I have dates all over the chapter. My church started with Jesus Christ and with no one else and I give credit to no one for my faith except the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, will you please read Galatians 1:6-10. If you are searching a personal relasionship with Christ and I hope you are take time to reflect on what you have red.

God Bless!
