$94,000 a year was way too much to pay these commissioners, now they've made things more sickening by adding another nine grand a year to their paychecks. This is the most disgusting disservice by public officials that I've ever heard of.

These salaries are in line with what they would make in the private sector with responsibility for a similar sized budget and number of employees. Lighten up folks, if you pay elected officials measly salaries, you'll only have millionaires or substandard people in office.
