Best Wishes Larry

Before narrow-minded anti-Jazz or Anti-Miller ranters contribute their bilious remarks, I want to tell Larry that long-time Jazz fans appreciate his hard work and well-intentioned efforts to keep this franchise consistently successful. The Jazz are a perennial contender for the Western Finals and/or NBA Finals, and Larry never let the "small market" disadvantage stand in the way of bringing in mostly players of good character who played well together in the team construct. Larry is loyal, a rare commodity among any business men these days, let alone owners of pro sports teams. He loves his players, he loves his coaches, and he fights for the values of the community. Larry, please take care of yourself so you can continue to influence the Jazz for good for a long time to come!

just thinking II

work is not the problem. if he is having nerve damage in his feet that is a real problem. it does not go away after treatment but gets worst daya by day until he can hardly walk. i know i have it. each step is a painful experience. if he does not take care of his blood sugar that can also be very dangerous. my sister had a blood sugar of 800 and went into a coma and died. with his life style if he eats too many sweets he could be in danger.. I hope he and everyone else who denigh they have typeII will listen to the doctors and do something about it. it does not hurt until the damage is done. please do something for yourself.

Care

Take care of yourself. You only get one shot at a good quality of life. Change course while you still can.

Love You Larry

Larry Miller has been a tremendous force for good in our community. Most are aware of his larger ventures - SLCC Miller Campus, BUY Baseball Diamond, etc. but much of the good he has done, is done without his fingerprints being seen. He is a generous gentleman. We are praying for your quick recovery Larry. Please take care of yourself. We want you around for many, many years to come.

Get better Larry and take care of yourself.

Larry, please listen to your doctors. I also have Type II, and life can be hard if you do not control what you eat. Please, if only for you and your family, take care of your health. You are still a young man with many years happy years ahead of you. And I am sure you have a few grandkids that want you around for a few more years, too. A lot of people out here love and respect you.

Larry doesn't look fine! The past few years he has put on a lot of weight, it's difficult to see him on TV. I think his son is right, he needs to take this as a shocker. The fact that he keeps saying "I'm fine" shows that he thinks stronger than he actually is (like an alcoholic refusing to admit he has a problem)

Take care of yourself buddy!

Good luck with a full recovery. We all in the state of Utah need you and your vision of how to make things better. I am not just talking sports, but life and its purpose. You are a great example to all of us. Get well soon!

MD here

This isn't said w/ malice, but he needs to use his money and hire a personal trainer and nutritionist.

Mr. MIller - you are an asset far beyond what is normally known about you. I have watched you fight to keep the Jazz here and I have known of some of the small unheralded things you have helped along the way. You are a Utah asset and I say to you " hang in there!!"

Fredrick

Larry, please take care of yourself. You are very important to the state.

That he was in denial about his diabetes is rediculous as it is in the family - did he think he was above it? May he get to feeling better and then may he then respect his employees in the same light. You can say he has brought jobs into the valley but they are low paying and his employees have little respect for those he hires to bully them. God Bless the Miller family that somewhere christianity will reach the lower ranks of his employees

RE: to jr

First of all, a low paying job is better than a no paying job. With all the things he has on his plate do you really think he has time to worry about the lower ranked employees? Blame it on your boss/supervisor not the owner. Secondly, denying diabetes does not mean he thinks he is above it. One must understand the disease. Type II can have a slow onset with signs but can be managed by a better diet and better control of insulin. It is not like you have this disease all of the sudden. Your body can slowly become less responsive to the amount of insulin your body usually produces.

My best wish take care of you. Lot of people depends on you.

It looks like he react the same way many folks out there react when they are told they need to change their way of life: denial. This is a wake-up call. Please Mr. Miller, take it like that. After all, you would like to enjoy the grandkids a little bit longer, wouldn't you? There's a lot of people who respects and considers you. I think you are a good guy and a good utahn. Hope you get better but as a daughter of a mother who also doesn't listen, I hope you take a long vacation too according to your son's wish. Lord bless!

Take care of yourself Larry! You mean so much to our state, and we don't know if we can yet trust your family/sons to take care of Utah the way you have. If your sons are the heirs to your kingdom, I hope they are as committed to the state of Utah as you have been. I don't want to see your assets being sold off to out of state businessmen. Larry, this is your wake up call. Get healthy for yourself, for your family, and for the state of Utah. When you have better health teach your sons an unwaivering committment to the state of Utah, so that the Larry Miller Legacy will carry on. (I'm sure you already have, we just have yet to see what they can do).

Much Love,
Utah

Ya Buddy

At some time, we will consider a hero who can be great at business and have control of their personal life. Complete people are to be admired. I respect the role and work that Larry Miller as done, but please, use that energy to be an example of a person who belives happiness comes from success, service, spirit and health!!

it can happen to anyone

it is not a respector of race , color , creed...and it is on the rise as we eat the wrong stuff too much processed and the ol' western euro ...the cow...so slow , no mo, I think we have just overdone the animal , too much sweet meat!
