And Chaffetz was not JUST a campaign worker...he RAN Dukakis for President in Utah!
We cannot judge Jason (or Obama) based on their pasts or their friends. We must only go by what they say, not what they have done... right. I'm voting for a proven conservative, Chris Cannon.
Chaffetz will be the 1st person to say that there is a Dukakis connection, that Jason was impressed with Regan , switched parties, and also the Helped Gov. Huntsman. He ran Huntsman's campaign and beat Gov. Walker. He has been nominated or appointed twice by Gov. Huntsman for positions since being his chief of staff. The only complaint I can find about Jason that has any credibility is he screened people from Huntsman. That complaint hasn't changed since, so It wasn't Jason.
Jason has answers, and listens. Vote for Jason.
Jason has illogical answers that are way too puffed up to be true. He speaks of going back to Washington, and changing everything. What is his plan of attack? Going back there and changing it? How, could you tell me how he will change it? He just gives empty promises, promises that would just wither and die, like his football career I cannot see a reason to support Chaffetz, he has not said how he will do things, just that he WILL change it...?
Just noticed this story.
So Jason is NOT related to Dukakis. Interesting, very interesting.
Kind of blows the story I was told out of the water.
What I was told is that he was related to Dukakis and that is why he ran his campaign in Utah. It created an image of naive little boy running family campaign in Utah. That makes sense.
Now we learn he was not related so he was not obligated to do so. He ran it out of full knowledge and commitment.
The fun thing about Jason is that his answers get better and better all the time. He has been pushed on the fact that he was a left-wing, ubber liberal Democrat trying to defeat that Reagan agenda by getting Dukakis elected.
His answer started out with Dukakis being family to where we are today. Now it wasn't family but a real neat little Reagan conversion story.
Did anyone hear this Reagan conversion story prior to this past week? I have debate some staunch Chaffetz supporters and this Reagan story is news to them.
It's the dreaded Clinton disease: You can tell when he Chaffetz is lying because his lips are moving.
Vote Cannon!
Sounds like there are really a lot of worried Cannon supporters out there if this is the big story! The 'Great One' himself WAS a Democrat before he got a few years behind him and then found political success by becoming the governor of California. I can see a kid in his 20s working on a national campaign with stars in his eyes and a loose family connection that allowed him to have some access to the process. So, he is not DIRECTLY related to Dukakis. That doesn't change the fact that his father was married to Kitty Dukakis and so he had a family connection.
If we want to discuss credibility, I think we should talk about what our Republicans did with 12 years of controlling congress and six of those with a Republican president! I have been as firm a believer as anyone but all I can recall from our Republican revolution now is a lot of lips moving! When we get pounded in the house and senate races this fall, keep that in mind. Is it all worth just keeping the same guys there who already blew for our future?
Go Jason!
