Kudos to them,their leaders,and community members who joined in this effort. Bearing one another's burdens is not only necessary, it is fun!
Bravo!
In addition to feeling good about what they did for someone else, these kids got to learn useful skills that will benefit them for a lifetime.
ANY neighborhood or group can pull of this kind of project but it requires someone willing to step up, take the risk and lead. Kudos to whomever it was in that ward who filled that post- you KNOW who you are. It's an unbelievable amount of work to organize something like that. While I recognize and appreciate everyone who helped- the person who came up with the idea and then did the work of implementing should be congratulated for a successful completion and thanked for their dedication.
"All big things are accomplished by people who are naive' and pursue an idea others believe is impossible". I love that quote, it fits here.
