With youth like these, our future is in good hands.
Kudos to them,their leaders,and community members who joined in this effort. Bearing one another's burdens is not only necessary, it is fun!

This is what life should be about....serving others...I can't tell you how wonderful these young men and women make me feel....and I'm sure the Lord is saying "behold my children in whom I am well pleased...."

What an inspiring bunch of young adults! they have taught us all something. I read in another paper that these people in need are not even members of these kids church or ward? That is phenomenal. "Well done my good and faithful servants, Well done!" I wonder what other kids in the area got accomplished during this same time period? Maybe another level of a video game or maybe some form of self absorbed activity? I applaud the Mountain Ward the leaders and especially the youth! You are truly an amazing group of young adults!

What a wonderful thing to do! Imagine it being replicated on a larger scale? So much good could be done. I have had the opportunity to lead a large community project which involved people of all religions- and those who do not ascribe to a religion. There is a feeling and attitude while doing work like this thats just amazing.

In addition to feeling good about what they did for someone else, these kids got to learn useful skills that will benefit them for a lifetime.

ANY neighborhood or group can pull of this kind of project but it requires someone willing to step up, take the risk and lead. Kudos to whomever it was in that ward who filled that post- you KNOW who you are. It's an unbelievable amount of work to organize something like that. While I recognize and appreciate everyone who helped- the person who came up with the idea and then did the work of implementing should be congratulated for a successful completion and thanked for their dedication.

"All big things are accomplished by people who are naive' and pursue an idea others believe is impossible". I love that quote, it fits here.

This article has brought tears to my eyes. This is what the church is all about and I am so happy and proud of the Ogden youth for their time, dedication and committment, love and christ like attributes to make someone else's life a whole lot easier. It's also wonderful to see the community step in and help! Awsome job everyone! Can we see the before and after pic of the house?

Oh, how I wish all the youth in the church could gain this vision of service instead of feeling they have to be entertained every time they meet. This truly is being Christ-like. My hearty congratulations and heart-felt thanks to these beautiful youth.
