The pipeline project should have been started at least 30 years ago. There is only so much water in
the Colorado System. The remaining (unused)water allocations will go to those with the most political power in Washingtom D.C.

California and Arizona have well over 20 times the number of Utah elected representatives in D.C. Who's kidding who here ... "use it or lose it"

Who's looking to the long term future here .. doesn't anyoone realize that in less than 200 years all our existing water reservoirs will be silted in cow pastures (if we can gather enough precipitation to grow the pasture grass).

Let's get it done!

Let's be Conservatives

and turn this project over to the private sector. The private sector will be able to construct the project for a small fraction of the cost for it to be built by government.

If this project can do everything the proponents say it will, then there will be private financing available because it would be profitable to construct and operate the pipeline. If in fact it's a dead end money loser, then private money will stay away. Nice and simple, and nobody's tax money gets wasted on a pipe dream.

Let the Free Market work its magic here, and be an example to all of America.
