I thought the team played really well last night. Kansas City was lucky to walk away with a point. It was unfortunate that Hartman had such a good game and RSL wasn't able to slot one past him. I'm looking forward to a road win against Chivas. Time to beat up on the expansion brethren and get redemption from the last time when they beat us with Atiba Harris.

This is getting old. Kreis was nothing but excuses in the post game interview. I've tried to support this franchise for three seasons and it's not making a lot of progress. The crowds are dwindling and the product is getting boring!

the game started 0-0. it ended 0-0. all those people came, bought a ticket, and watched a couple hours of defense.

Make the goal bigger. Get rid of the goalie. Or remove that silly off-sides rule that nobody gets or really cares about.

You must not understand or appreciate the subtle nuances of the beautiful game.

Like the beauty and excitement of almost getting a shot off. Or the beauty of almost scoring. Or the excitement of your opponent almost scoring.

Or when the keeper scoops up a slowly rolling ball and then boots it halfway down the field.

Clearly you did not learn during your childhood the fun, the thrills and the wonder of a well-played game of keepaway.

Last night was my first visit to the stadium to watch RSL - a very fun experience. I'll definitely be back.

No scoring?!?! And this is suppose to be fun to watch? This is the number one reason why soccer will never make it in the United States. Wake me up when someone scores!!! What a joke!

"...a couple hours of defense"? Clearly you didn't watch the game. RSL fired off 19 shots, and 5 shots on goal. There was some very exciting offense on display last night, exhibited mostly by the home side.

You can't judge the entire game solely on goals scored, even if it is ultimately the most important stat. Saves in particular can be every bit as exciting as a goal (Hartman was huge last night!), and removing the goalie is a ridiculous suggestion.

It's not hard to gain an appreciation for the game, but it's certainly easier to make ignorant critiques and attacks... but feel free to take the easy way out.

Sometimes Man U goes 0-0. It happens. RSL actually played a good game. They just didn't finish. Part of that is bad luck. Part of that is strikers who need to improve their finishing. However, there are games in which Man U cant even finish tons of easy chances. If it happens to Man U it is definitely going to happen to RSL sometimes. However, the real problem is we need to start winning on the road. If we don't start putting it together on the road we are done.

It will also help when Espindola is back. He is clearly our best striker.

From the goal through the midfield RSL is probably about as good as any team in MLS (or at least close). The TV commentators, including Bruce Arena last night, all mention about how much better this year's RSL club is compared to the past. Much of the time the team possesses the ball and plays attractive soccer and creates chances. Anyone that played soccer, at a decent level, or has watched the game at fairly high level, for a good part of their life, should have appreciated the way RSL played last night, accept for the lack of finishing. Unfortunately, this is an obvious problem that the team has had since the start of the season. If RSL could get at least one quality finisher they would have a realistic chance to make the playoffs. Without a finisher, however, it is going to be almost impossibe to string a few wins together...Lastly, blaming Kreis is not the answer. He can't go in and shot for the forwards. although it would be nice if he could...You've got to tip your hat to him for putting together a pretty attractive side in a relative short period of time. Give him a scorer.

It is completely acceptable to believe soccer boring. However, if you criticize soccer but love/watch baseball, than you're a hypocrite. Baseball is way worse than soccer. It stops after EVERY PITCH. There's an overweight fatty on the mound and one steroid addict on the plate and three guys in the outfield chewing sunflower seeds. (The the game is so boring even the players need diversion!) Baseball is the American "pastime" because IT HAS NO FUTURE. "The Beautiful Game" soccer is rapidly taking its place.

Even in a 0-0 game, something still happens. RSL picked up a point to apply towards the playoffs (hopefully). I was hoping for three points.

This is a dimension of sport that is missing from traditional American sports: in soccer you don't just score goals and walk away with a win, loss or tie. You also earn points towards the ultimate goal.

I find soccer exciting. No commercials, time-outs, free throws, etc. It is non-stop play. In baseball you often have only two players on the field doing anything. In football play stops every 10 seconds. In basketball there are way too many free throws stopping the flow of the game and too many commercial breaks.

A good game at home is a win. A good game on the road is a tie. A tie at home is a kick in the pants. Seventy -five percent of the shots on goal last night were weak and way off the mark. We dominated the game, but couldn't find the net. And we waited too late to sub and still had an additional sub that Jason didn't use. What the crap? Was he saving it for a rainy day? Were they playing that well that a coach wouldn't want to mix it up? Had the score been 2-0 I would have agreed with his decision to not use the last sub, or had we been on the road, OK don't sub. BUT AT HOME? The fans are pissed. Jason has to go.

So they took 19 shots and five of them were actually towards the goal! And in 90 minutes.

That is exciting.

I've only watched the highlights and it was definitely exciting - lots of chances created, even if none were finished.

My impression was that the surface of the pitch had a huge influence of the outcome by changing the way the ball bounces - the sooner RSL get playing on a real surface the real team will start playing!

Jason needs to go, nothing has changed. We are not any better because we are still at the bottom, still cant score. Just wanting for the fire Kreis web sites. In addition has everyone seen the ticket prices for next year?!?!?!?!?! Ridiculous!!!
I am begining to think that maybe RSL may just be a flash in the pan here and they will leave Utah with the bill for a stadium.

I am no rocket scientist but there is to much conflict and boneheaded moves in the feont office concerning EVERYTHING!!!!

Someone who scares defenders. I don't think Deuchar is it. Espindola maybe...but he's injured every third game.
