It looks like the State of Texas is trying to downgrade the Story by delaying the case. CPS and Texas are in a bind now and the local News coverage is downgrading the issue of the fact that CPS acted improperly and unlawfully.

Religious Freedom is a Major issue in this case. To give the CPS the ability to take away Accepted Religious Texts allows for Law Enforcement to remove other major Religious Texts in the Future. Under CPS Rules and Regulations, the Children of other Families not even related to this case can have their Religion interfered with.

The fact that CPS knew the calls were bogus and still acted on them creates a timeline of deception and Lawbreaking on their part.

I wish I could just get this story out of my mind, however, the fact that SOMEWHERE IN AMERICA, innocent peoples's rights have been completely torn away from them. I do feel that this story would have, and should have gotten more national attention. At this time most Americans have been watching to see who will be their next president, insted of realizing that we are all in very grave danger when one of the States acts in a very crude and ruthless way, holding innocents captive, and terrorizing American children. Just as I walk away from this story, it gets even more wierd! Now, with this delay, on Rozita, who I really do not think is really guilty of anything. It does not add up! What, do they need more time to figure out how to cover up this? There is NO possible way that Rozita knew what was happening at that ranch, unless she where told, maybe by the very same people who wanted to raid the it. I think I will write a letter to someone, someone NEEDS to! And no, I am not a FLDS man, 35 year old woman with three kids, shocked, TEXAS?

Texas is trying to hand down some indictments and if the "Rozitta" thing comes to light, much of their "evidence" will not be allowed.
They probably know that this will eventually happen but they can cause more financial hardship on the FLDS by doing it this way, even if it's in the short term.

Ranger cover-up? | 4:52 p.m. June 7, 2008
You have to wonder if one of the Texas rangers that ran off with the evidence from Rozitas apartment was Leslie Long, the same ranger whose wrote the affidavits to get both search warrants. (And who had to judge shop the first one to get it signed.)
Wall thanked TX Ranger in book | 10:54 p.m. June 7, 2008
Is it true that Ellisa Walls thanked the TX ranger Long and Doran in her book?

Does anyone know when that book was printed? If it was before the raid, I would think she would be in very big trouble.

I know that she is a victim but being a victim doesn't give you a free pass to hurt other people. My theory is she may have felt so entitled and self-important from all the publicity that she didn't have trouble making up these lies. If these lies were made at the time her book was about to be released and that made her rich, well even better.

Maybe she hated Warren Jeffs so much that she is taking it out on all the children on the YFZ ranch. If this is true, and I'm not sure it is ture, she is no better than Warren Jeffs and she deserves to go to prison.

The one thing that has not been discussed enough is the timing of the raid and the placement of casing in the newly-discovered oil well, adjacent to the YFZ ranch. Could there be a cover up to gain access to 1,700 acres of future "black gold", lying some 7000 fet below the surface? Lets hope not. Scaring over 400 children's lives is not worth all the oil in the much-discussed county.

Very suspicious that Swinton knew the names of some FLDS members and mentioned them in her complaints as "Sarah". It would be a MAJOR conflict of interest (possibly even criminal evidence tampering) if the Ranger that wrote the affidavits was the one to secure the Swinton evidence. Far be it from me to be a conspiracy theorist, but there appears to be much more to this particular aspect of the case than some people want to admit or allow to be seen.
