I'm so disappointed. I believe Keni would've shored up one of our biggest D-Line worries this year to make us a MWC title contender. Now who will step up and make the impact we need? Our scoreboard clock is ticking down until the team down south intrudes our stadium with all of their zoobies and their caffeine free diet cokes in their pockets. I still think we have a chance if Max Hall, their O-line, Harvey Unga, Austin Collie, Dennis Pitta, Jan Jorgenson, David Nixon, their entire D-line and kicker aren't able to play due to injury. Yes, we could end the two year drought if that happens. But really, all I care about is that we beat the team from down south because that will make our season a success. GO Yewts!!!

BYU can now show its less judgmental side and allow kafusi to enroll at the Y. BYU has been consistent at letting various misdeeds go unnoticed when it comes to football just look at the Crowton teams. BYU is a great school with rules that will keep Mr. Kafusi in line and it is hypocritical enough that Kafusi will not feel out of place, go get him BYU.

We don't need another trouble maker in our stable of athletes. We have enough already. If the coaches knew of half of the underage drinking and partying that goes on with there players they would'nt be able to feild a kick off team. Maybe the same at most universities around the country. As a father of a athlete being scouted by many colleges I sometimes worry about the atmostpheres at our colleges. I would love my son to go to the U but I just don't know. On his official visit he was offered alcohol by more than one person, both athlete and females and other students. It's a shame. I know that partying is a part of college life but drinking is against the LAW for kids under 21.

The U doesn't care whether he is guilty or innocent. Everything is based on image. The fact that he was arrested is enough to cause the U to distance itself from Kaufusi. I am opposed to this position. What Kaufusi ought to do is take a break from school for a couple of years, sign up for a Peace Corps or church mission and mature, and then come back and put his heart and soul into football.

Folk, we have a real crisis on our hands, Obama could be our next President! We have serious problems in our future.

Im going to have to agree with the stepdad on this one. Innocent or guilty its pretty classless to find out your ride has been yanked from anyone other than the head coach. He should look into transfering up north to Les Bois.

"Everything is based on image. The fact that he was arrested is enough to cause the U to distance itself from Kaufusi. I am opposed to this position."

Which explains why Kyle is the head coach of the U and not you.

Obama didn't cause the mess we are in right now. If Obama is our next president he can't do any worse that what GWB has done. The future looks good.

>If Obama is our next president he can't do any worse that what GWB has done.

You could be right...except for the fact that Obama wants to socialize everything and turn the U.S. into a totalitarian collectivist state.

Today marks sadness for me. Cottonwood should not be blamed. Coach Witt, the police, the story's author, Wendy's employees neither. Ultimately, Keni's got to step up and swallow what he drank. Being at the WRONG PLACE, at the WRONG TIME, doing the WRONG THINGS, with the WRONG PEOPLE will always spell your doom-no matter how good you explain yourself. I think his friends are losers and should feel bad for what role they played.

What I like best about this article though is that he said he will still stay the course and try to graduate. Don't give up Keni because of negative comments made here. You've struck out a few times in life but it's never too late to hit the game winning homerun-Education success. Football's JUST a game son! I know the Kaufusi family personally and they are some of the greatest people to walk the earth, and you're right there with them.

KEEP SWINGING AT IT MY BOY!

Kyle heard that Bronco was working his magic again to lure away another player committed to another school. Unlike Hillary, Kyle knows when to concede.

BYU can show grace:

UCS Fan? Guess somebody didn't fare too well in keyboard 101. Why don't you come down off of that high horse you rode in on, because when you get done looking down on this kid you realize you don't have a leg to stand on. USC is a great place to play football if you want to set your parents up with a home in L.A. county with money provided from an agent (which is also what went on at Cottonwood, so tell me now which school is better suited to this kid?); it's also a great place to get into if you're looking to receive money as a student athlete (again, from agents) and hook yourself up with a nice whip. USC (or UCS) players are way above board with their behavior, they are sterling examples in the community and would never do anything like underage drinking or carrying a weapon. Stuff like that just doesn't happen in LA LA land. Those Cougars are just a bunch of flagrantly nasty rule breakers with no morals.

Get a life "UCS Fan." Keni, get it straightened out and pull it together. I'm pulling for you.

Make you stupid.

Those were Keni's actions, stupid.

His "friend" that had a gun in his car? STUPID

Keni trying to take the rap when he's probably the only one of the group that really has a future? Stupid.

AND YOU!! The "U", you are stupid too. Why did you have to give Keni a life sentence? All you really had to say was "we are watching the situation, as soon as charges as filed or finished we will make a statement"

But you didn't, "U" are stupid too.

Okay.. So, now that all the criticizing and judging is over with, do you guys feel better about yourselves and feel that you've bettered the situation? Doubt it. Everything everyone of you have said on here is not something that Keni hasn't heard before... Unless you know Keni and his family, then don't pass judgements on his choices. Given his circumstances, he became someone much better than what he could've turned out to be. Old habits die hard and at this age, our friends become our foundation. I don't know the full story at Wendy's, but then again, none of you do! So stop saying "he KNEW" or "GROW up"...

But i can vouch for Keni's striving to accomplish his schoolwork. We've all made mistakes and he's currently paying for them by not being able to walk with his fellow classmates, and spending his summer trying to do what he can to make it somewhere. Snow or the U..?? Hmm, would you have made the choice for Snow? I highly doubt that. I'm proud of Keni and the sudden drive that he has.. He's proving that he's growing up by admitting to the situation. Let the courts decide...

Wow. Some kids would die for the opportunity that Kaufusi had to play for Utah! I didn't think that someone could just through away something like that but I guess we all were proven wrong.
Who Cares?! | 6:25 p.m. June 10, 2008
I turned down the chance to play volleyball at a Division 1 school... if he unwillingly threw h is chance away, and I willingly did... Apparently, i'm worse..? That's not something for you to be proven wrong or right about.. ugh, people stop...
