Wow...jeopardize the long-term viability of an entire region, and also put into harm's way the residents that will move into the Vegas area because of the new water. It's time to conserve and not seek to continue to destroy and overuse!
this sounds a lot like what Los Angeles did years ago to the water tables in California. They took all the water and the Farms were left high and dry. The loss of this water will affect Utah as well. Lets see, they want to take this water and the Colorado River water. Where will the 6 million people projected to live in Utah in the next few years get a drink? I guess we will be told to conserve. Seems to me that Las Vegas needs to consider recycling their water and quit wasting so much.
Common Gov. Huntsman stand up and stop this before we end up paying more for water than we do now for gas.
