Was this girl was on her phone or texting as well as traveling 2 to 3 times the speed limit in a residential area? Is she in jail? If not, why not? I am sick and tired of people running red lights and stop signs, changing lanes without looking, and texting on their phones. This is a terrible tragedy. People just don't think anymore. That the intersection in question doesn't have a 4-way stop is a crying shame.
Wow this article says they're lucky that there wasn't a passenger. What about the driver of the truck and his family. We're all praying for miracles here.
